These snaps were taken by a resident who saw the vehicle, an Audi, parked in the unusual position earlier this week at Riverview Health Centre in Hendon.

The 55-year-old man who took the pictures spoke of his rage at the incident.

“I was so angered by it,” said the man, who did not want to be named.

“If it isn’t bad enough to park where he did it also happens to be the only ramped access area to the centre for wheelchair bound disabled people.

“The front of his vehicle also blocked access.”

The man added that he confronted the male driver of the car, but was given short shrift.

“When I pointed out to the driver that he was parked on a crossing and was indeed blocking access to the health centre for disable persons he abruptly informed my wife and I that it was private property and he could and wound park wherever he liked and that we should mind our own business,” said the witness.

“What also make it worse is there were spaces available and indeed you can see in one of the pictures a vacant parking space, albeit for disable drivers.”

The car was left across the disabled ramp at about 1.40pm on Tuesday.
