FOOTBALLERS are aiming to score in aid of a toddler battling cancer.
Touched by the plight of Castletown youngster Kian Armstrong, three, who is undergoing intensive treatment for neuroblastoma, a charity football match will take place at Billy Hardy Centre, Castletown, at 10.30am on August 5.
It will see Hylton Castle TRW take on Hylton Castle FC in a bid to raise funds for Kian.
Phil Monson, manager of Hylton Castle TRW, said: “Kian is a local lad and we all want to do anything we can to help him.”
Money raised will either go towards paying for a holiday for Kian or for treatment he may need in the future.
Entry to the match will be £1.
