Delays on A19 in Sunderland following three-car crash
Drivers are facing delays tonight following a crash on the A19.
It happened on the southbound side of the road just after the turn-off for the A183 Chester Road, at 4pm.
Three cars were involved in the collision, with no-one seriously injured.
Officers from Northumbria Police are on the scene and one lane is blocked as they deal with the aftermath of the crash.
Traffic however is moving freely on the northbound side of the road.
