It’s decision time for this year’s Face Of 2013, and our panel of judges have the difficult task of whittling down hundreds of hopefuls to decide who will be in the top 40.
Judging gets under way on Wednesday, and our fashion experts have to decide if any of the starlets make the grade.
As usual, we have teamed up with Red’s Hair and Beauty to give two stunning readers the chance to be discovered. Since we launched the competition three weeks ago entries have flooded in.
Scores of you have sent in pictures of your perfect poses in the hope you will be crowned the Face Of 2013 and get your hands on our fabulous prize package.
This year’s judges include Sunderland Echo editor John Szymanski, Reds salon owners Harry and Susan Hall, elite make-up artist Amanda Bell, photographer Scott Spock, Harry Collinson from Sunderland’s Collinsons Jewellers and a representative from Tyne Tees Models.
•One year’s free hairdressing at Reds.
•A year’s modelling contract with Tyne Tees Models.
•A model portfolio shoot in the studio and roof set with four high fashion retouched images in print courtesy of Scott Spock photography.

After the entries are reduced to 40 by our judges the final 12 beauties will be chosen by you, our readers,.
All those shortlisted will be notified by phone and their pictures will appear in the Echo along with a voting number on Thursday and Friday.
