A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted in Washington.
he 32-year-old was walking across the footbridge of The Galleries shopping 0ntre, towards the bus station, when a man exposed himself to her.
He then performed a sex act. It happened at about 7.45pm on Sunday.
The woman tried to run off and the man grabbed hold of her before pushing her and then running off.
She suffered minor injuries.
He was 6ft 1in tall, skinny, with short fair hair and was wearing jeans.
