LOVE RAT Keith Macdonald is still wanted by police a week after being found guilty of assaulting his ex-partner.
The 27-year-old, a reported dad-of-nine, headbutted his former girlfriend Stephanie Jubb in March this year after a row over a toastie.
Macdonald, who is originally from Washington, was found guilty of common assault by beating and of stealing Ms Jubb’s mobile phone and £80 in cash which belonged to her.
The lothario was also convicted of criminal damage to a Nintendo Wii games console.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police today confirmed that the warrant for Macdonald’s arrest is “still outstanding”.
A tearful Ms Jubb, 24, told how she was left with two black eyes after Macdonald’s assault on her at the home they were sharing in East Rainton.
“I felt upset, angry and hurt,” she told the hearing at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court, which Macdonald did not attend.
She went to her next-door neighbour’s house to ring 999.
On returning she found that her Sony Ericsson mobile phone had gone and £80 of her money had been taken from a mug.
Finding Macdonald guilty of all charges, chairman of the bench David Kent issued a warrant for his arrest so that he can be sentenced for his crimes.
On-off couple Macdonald and Ms Jubb originally met in 2005, the year Macdonald shot to fame when it was revealed he had fathered six children by six women.
Macdonald, who first became a dad aged just 15, said his best technique when meeting women was to chat them up on buses from The Galleries shopping centre.
Huge media interest followed and he appeared on chat programme The Jeremy Kyle Show in which he was labelled a “sponger” for refusing to pay maintenance to his children’s mums.
Macdonald, the son of a binman, left Usworth School early with no qualifications.
His current address was given in court as Uttoxeter Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
