Two in court charged with murder of Sunderland dad George Dagg

Two brothers are due to appear in court today charged with the murder of George Dagg.

The pair were appearing before Sunderland Magistrates’ Court today following the death of the 53-year-old earlier this month.

Mr Dagg, a father of two, died after suffering a stab wound to his leg after an incident in Purley Road, Plains Farm, on Monday, June 2.

Mr Dagg, who lived in the street, was taken to hospital where he subsequently died.

Jack Ryan, 21, and Jess Ryan, 24, both formerly of Toronto Road in Thorney Close, have been charged with murder and were due to appear at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court today.
