Two in court charged with burglary

TWO men were due to appear at Durham Crown Court today charged with burglaries which led to stock worth more than £100,000 being taken from 32 shops.

 Lee Barnett, 36, from Clinton Place, Silksworth, Sunderland, and Gary Rarity, 29, from South Street, West Rainton, are both charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

 The arrests were made after a joint investigation between Northumbria and Durham police.
