POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at a Sunderland school.
It happened at Sunderland High Junior School on Ashbrooke Road, overnight between 9pm on Friday March 28, and 10.20am on Saturday, March 29.
Thieves broke into the office and searched it before stealing a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and left.
Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
