Teenager attacked by BMX bandits

A TEENAGER was attacked by two BMX-riding raiders during an attempted robbery.

The 18-year-old was on a secluded path, known as The Line, near Murton’s Station Estate, when he was approached by the yobs.

The pair demanded money and when he refused to give them any, they punched and kicked him several times.

They fled towards Seaton.

The victim sustained bruising to both eyes, a swollen lip and lump on his head.

One of the men was about 19 years old, slim, 6ft 2in tall, with short black hair.

He wore jogging bottoms, trainers and white T-shirt.

His accomplice was of a similar age, slim, 6ft 4in tall with short black hair and a beard.

He wore dark blue jeans with a dark, a light blue striped jumper and dark brown Rockport boots.

The incident happened at about 6pm on Saturday.
