A TODDLER was hospitalised after an object thrown through a window hit her, with police looking into whether the attack is linked to a fire and break in at a nearby house.
The two-year-old girl was in a house in Penistone Road, in Pennywell, when the incident happened at about 11.15pm on Friday.

The tot was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital for treatment to a bump, as well as minor cuts and bruises.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of affray over the incident.
She was also been given a cannabis warning by police.
Later, just after 11.45pm on the same night, police received a report of a burglary at an address in Portsmouth Road, just 200 yards away from Penistone Road, followed by further information of a fire in the bedroom of the same house.
Police, fire and the ambulance services attended the address but no-one was injured as a result of the blaze.
Fire service call handlers gave a man who was trapped inside the flat advice as firefighters headed to the property to free him.
He was checked over by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.
Two men, aged 23 and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers are now looking into the possibility that the two incidents are linked and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
