Sunderland shopkeeper suffers racial abuse

POLICE are appealing for help to trace this man after a shopkeeper was racially abused.

At 9.10pm on Sunday, February 3, a man walked into a shop on Windsor Terrace, in Grangetown, Sunderland, and racially abused a member of staff.

Police have released this CCTV image of a man, seen in the area at the time, who they are keen to speak to as he may have important information about the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to ring police on the 101 non-emergency number or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
