A FRESH appeal has been made after a man attempted to drag a schoolgirl into his car.
Investigating officers believe the man may have driven past two people walking along Barnes Park Road just before the incident at 11pm on Sunday, June 19.
They are now urging these people to come forward as they may hold vital clues to the investigation.
As reported in the Echo, the 13-year-old girl was walking along the road, near the junction with Hurstwood Road, when a man got out of his car.
He walked up to the youngster, grabbed her and pulled her towards his car.
She was able to break free and run off.
The man then fled in his car, heading north along Barnes Park Road.
The car is believed to be a white car, possibly an estate and an older model that had black bin bags taped to the back windows.
