Sunderland man threatened to trash his mum’s home

A MAN was arrested after rowing with his mother.

Stephen Kenyon’s mother went into Southwick police station to ask officers to go to her home.

Paul Anderson, prosecuting, said: “It was about 7.20pm when the defendant’s mother went to Southwick police station and said ‘can you come and sort my son out?’

“When police arrived, he was threatening to self harm and smash the place up.

“He was aggressive and said ‘if you let me out, I will come back and smash the place up’.”

Kenyon, of Oakfield Close, Sunderland, admitted breaching the peace at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court and was bound over for 12 months in the sum of £300.
