A SECOND man has been arrested after an incident in Sunderland city centre.
The 27-year-old sustained a head injury after he was ejected from the Little Black Book club, in Vine Place, Sunderland, at 1.55am on Saturday.
He was taken to hospital and received treatment during the weekend, but his injuries are not been classed as life-threatening.
A 35-year-old and a 36-year-old man have been now arrested on suspicion of assault. They were interviewed by CID and bailed pending further inquiries.
Detective Sergeant Dave Wakefield said: “We’re particularly keen to speak to anyone who was inside the club who has information about events which led up to the man being ejected.
“This includes a group of women who were in the bar area who it’s believed the victim had spoken to.”
