A SEAHAM man has denied shooting dead his parents.

Stephen Seddon, pictured, – also known as Nic – from Benevente Street, is alleged to have killed his father Bob, 68, and his mother Patricia, 65, at their home in Greater Manchester on July 6.

The 45-year-old businessman yesterday appeared at Manchester Crown Court via videolink from HM Prison Manchester, formerly known as Strangeways.

He entered not guilty pleas in response to the charges of murder.

He also denied one charge of attempted murder.

That relates to an incident which saw Bob and Patricia survive, after a car being driven by their son plunged into Bridgewater Canal in Timperley, Altrincham.

The case has been adjourned until February 19 next year.

The trial is expected to last from four to six weeks.
