A CONVICTED rapist has been cleared of three further sex charges.
Michael Brown was jailed after raping two teenage schoolgirls during separate attacks in 2009 and 2010.
After he was convicted of the offences, a third alleged victim came forward claiming the 33-year-old, formerly of Pennywell, attacked her too.
Brown denied one charge of indecent assault and two of rape in relation to the alleged victim and was being tried by a jury at Newcastle Crown Court.
During the trial, it was claimed that the attacks happened before 2004, when she was 16.
Brown broke down in tears when the jury found him not guilty of all charges.
