Police release CCTV after thieves lift TVs from Pennywell Asda

POLICE have released CCTV footage of two men they are keen to speak to in connection with a shoplifting in Sunderland.

The incident happened on Thursday, October 30 at the Asda store in Pennywell between 6.45pm and 6.57pm when two 20in Polaroid televisions were taken from the store.

Police believe the two men may have information to help officers with their investigation.

The two men, or anyone who recognises the men, are asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 61087G/14 ext 69191, or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The appeal comes during Northumbria Police’s Operation Soundwave, aimed at tackling opportunist thieves across the force.
