TWO men have been arrested after allegedly assaulting a man over a money dispute.

The 35-year-old victim was walking near the Bangladeshi Community Centre, in Tatham Street, Hendon, when the attackers struck.

He was approached at about 3pm on Boxing Day by two men who accused him of owing them money.

The pair then punched and kicked him before hitting him with a bat and making off.

Two men, aged 22 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding and have since been released on police bail.
