A POLICE force showed its support for an internet campaign to help find missing youngsters.
Durham Constabulary joined actor and TV personality Stephen Fry in the Big Tweet For Missing Children.
The charity Missing People arranged to tweet a different appeal for a missing child every 30 minutes for 24 hours on social networking site Twitter during International Missing Children’s Day.
The Durham force supported the digital campaign by retweeting the appeals, which meant repeating the charity’s messages to all of its followers on Twitter.
Helen Murphy, from Durham Constabulary’s safeguarding unit, said: “We are delighted to support this important campaign.”
