A NERVOUS police dog has found a new home.
Loveable pooch Bella was one of two dogs rejected by Northumbria Police for being too shy.
But now the bashful German Shepherd has been successfully rehomed with new owners in County Durham.
Along with pal Blakey, Bella was donated to the North East force with the aim of being trained up to join the dog squad.
At just six months old, Bella is still a puppy, but her nervousness got in the way of her enrolling on the course.
Northumbria Police appealed for potential new owners to come forward and Bella will soon be enjoying life as a family pet.
