Here, they introduce the tiny pets, Shadow, Flash, Nibbles and Floppsy, which they are feeding with kitten milk four times a day, and thank people for the support they have been offered online.

Another of the litter, Misty, died, despite their best efforts.

The theft of Percy happened between Friday night and Saturday morning, when the hutch in Embleton Mews, Dawdon, was broken into.

The family believe their pet was taken by party goers who were returning from a rave in nearby woods and then taken to a gathering at a house.

A video uploaded onto social network Instragram for a short time is said to have shown men in a bath with the rabbit as they threaten to cut her fur and shave her coat with a razor.

The white lionhead rabbit is said to have been killed after she was thrown from a window.

Four men, two aged 19, a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old, along with youths aged 16 and 17, have been arrested by police on suspicion of theft and criminal damage.

They have been bailed pending further inquiries.
