A MAN sustained a broken jaw and was knocked unconscious during a street attack in Hylton Castle.

The 30-year-old victim was found by a member of the public, who helped him home, at 2am on Saturday.

He had been approached by a group of four men in a cut leading to the garage area between Clovelly Road and Washington Road.
