A TEENAGER has been arrested after a man suffered facial injuries in an alleged assault.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered injuries in an alleged attack in Shepherd Street, Sunderland, on Tuesday December 18 at 8.45pm
Police attended the address and the injured man was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital suffering from a large cut above his eye. He was discharged following treatment.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
A 34-year-old man also voluntarily attended a police station to be interviewed about the assault and has been released with no further action.
