A MAN accused of robbing a woman has died in prison.
Kirk Floyd Duboise was remanded in custody after his appearance before Peterlee magistrates, where he faced the charge along with another of possessing a bladed article.
It followed a disturbance in Warren Street in Horden on February 7.
Mr Duboise, of Tees Street, Horden, had been due to appear before Durham Crown Court yesterday.
The 22-year-old died in HMP Durham on Wednesday.
