A MAN accused of stealing cash from a Sunderland museum will have his case heard at crown court.
Peter Baff was at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court charged with burglary, following a break-in at Monkwearmouth Station Museum on May 20.
The 45-year-old, of Argyle Square in Ashbrooke, Sunderland, denied the charge.
The court heard £100 was stolen and a Thomas the Tank Engine ride was damaged beyond repair.
Baff was bailed to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on August 11.
