A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after a rush hour crash at a set of traffic lights.
The collision between the two cars happened in Byron Terrace, Seaham, at 4.30pm on Friday.
The smash led police to close off the road as the scene was cleared of debris and investigations were carried out.
A 25-year-old man from Horden, who was driving one of the cars, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
No one was injured in the collision.
