A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a blaze only a few hundred yards from the fire at Station House Stables yesterday.

Police and fire crews were called after a man was spotted allegedly setting fire to a pile of hay in Coxgreen Road, the road leading to Wearside Golf Club.
