Man, 64, arrested after house fire in Sunderland

A MAN has been arrested after a house fire in Sunderland.

At 7.41pm on Thursday, April 25, police received a report of a fire at Baker Street in Town End Farm. Police and the fire and rescue service attended and extinguished the fire.

No-one was injured in the incident. A 64-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of arson and is currently in custody helping with enquiries.
