Police are appealing for information after a number of break-ins in Sunderland.
Over the weekend, three business premises in Frederick Street, Moor Terrace and Church Lane were broken into by thieves.
A number of homes in Hylton Road and Broadway were also broken into after doors and windows were left open.
A Jaguar car was stolen from outside one of the houses. Other stolen items include a pram and of jewellery.
Sunderland West Neighbourhood Sergeant Ashley Hopper, said: “Most of these thieves are opportunist - leaving a door or window open and unlocked is making it easier for them to break-in.
“It only takes a few moments to close and lock a door or window and could help stop you from being a victim of crime.
Anyone who has any information about the burglaries is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
