THREE men arrested on suspicion of illegal working at a takeaway have been deported.
Officers from the UK Border Agency arrested the Indian men at Golden Fry Takeaway in Horden, during an operation last week.
The three, aged 21, 24 and 27, were later found to have no right to be in the UK and were flown back to their home country from Heathrow Airport on Wednesday.
A fourth man, 38, arrested during the same operation will continue to report to the agency.
Wallace Wilson, of the Northumbria Immigration Team, said: “This operation shows how our teams will not hesitate to take action. We will remove those people who have no right to be in the UK.”
