POLICE are continuing to hunt hen raiders who stole rare chickens from a farm in East Boldon.
The incident happened on Monday May 19 at Bow Meadows Farm, in East Boldon and police have now released more information on the raid.
The raiders entered the chicken pen sometime between 11.45am and 2pm , where selected five special breed chickens before making off unseen.
The chickens stolen were: two silkies; two white and grey clouds and one Buff Orpington.
Enquiries into the theft are ongoing and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.
