POLICE are hunting vandals who daubed graffiti on cars and homes in Sunderland at the weekend.
Officers say paint was sprayed onto a house and garage and a vehicle in Henderson Road, off Kayll Road, and a house and garage in adjacent Bexley Street.
The damage occurred overnight between 8pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, and police are conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area.
Acting Neighbourhood Inspector Ash Hopper said: “This is just mindless damage which has caused frustration to the residents affected.
“I’d appeal to anyone with information about the person responsible to get in touch.”
