TWO former Sunderland stars were questioned by police after a nightclub brawl which left a man in hospital.
El Hadji Diouf and Anton Ferdinand were quizzed after the fight at The Circle Club, in Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday.
Diouf was arrested at the scene on suspicion of violent disorder.
Five other men were also arrested and all have been bailed until May 23, pending further police inquiries.
QPR defender Ferdinand, 27, was questioned under caution by officers.
Diouf and Ferdinand were team mates at Sunderland in 2008-09.
Diouf, 31, from Senegal, is now with Doncaster Rovers.
A police spokesman said: “Six men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, five of whom have been bailed until May 23 pending further police inquiries.
“Another man has assisted the investigation, which is ongoing.”
