FISHING equipment was stolen from a Sunderland shed.

Raiders took the haul from Friar Road, sometime between 10.30pm, on Tuesday, October 7 and 11.30am, on Wednesday, October 8.

Items included:

Two Century fishing rods - one black and gold, the other silver and black, four black and gold Penn fishing reels, a purple and black Ziplex fishing rod, a silver Shimano fishing reel, a black Daiwa fishing reel, six fishing lines, assorted fishing hooks and weights and a black Penn fishing bag.

Inquiries into the burglary are continuing and police are urging any witnesses or anyone who may know of the goods whereabouts, including those who may have been offered such items for sale, to come forward.
