EIGHT people have been arrested after a teenager was hospitalised when he suffered a cut to his face.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at a house in Somerset Street, Silksworth, at around 7.30pm on Friday, to come forward.
The victim, a 19-year-old man, suffered a cut wound - caused by a sharp instrument - to his face and required hospital treatment.
His injuries are not life-threatening however.
Eight people have now been arrested - seven men and one woman - in connection with the assault.
Detectives are carrying out enquiries into the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
In particular they are keen to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen a disturbance in the area.
