The following people have been convicted at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court.

Amanda Taggart, 29, of Tatham Street, was sentenced to nine months’ alcohol treatment after pleading guilty to criminal damage and assault on March 25. She was also made subject to a restraining order and was told to pay a fine £10, compensation of £130 and criminal courts charge £150.

Kirsty Armstrong, 22, of Back North Railway Street, Seaham, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting criminal damage, on August 17, and was told to pay compensation of £50, victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85, and criminal courts charge of £150.

Gary Hunter, 53, of Kentchester Road, Downhill, was fined £250 after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of cannabis, on august 14. He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £25, costs of £85, and a criminal courts charge of £180.

Alex Ibbotson, 22, of Longfield Road, Sunderland, has been banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol on august 16. He was also told to pay a fine of £270, victim surcharge of £27, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Gloria Martin, 42, of King James Court, Downhill, was found guilty in her absence of being drunk and disorderly, on August 15, and was fined £55 and was told to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85, and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Nicholas Lee, 34, of King Henry Court, Downhill, was given a conditional discharge for six months after pleading guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress, on August 17.

He was told to pay a victim surcharge, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.
