TWO people are set to appear in court after being charged following Sunday’s Tyne-Wear derby.

Billy Robson, 19, of Shincliffe Avenue, Sunderland who was charged with drunk and disorderly and will appear at Gateshead Magistrates Court on January 22.

Mark Trory, 37, of St Anthony’s House, Newcastle, was charged with affray and will appear at Newcastle Magistrates Court on February 6.

Police said 23 arrests had been made. 13 of those have been bailed, two received cautions, two received a summons, two were issued with fixed penalty notices and one is awaiting a youth surgery.
