A woman who left hospital without her treatment being completed has sparked a police appeal.
On Saturday, May 30, a woman, giving the name of Sinead Murphy, attended Sunderland Royal Hospital for treatment.
She discharged herself from hospital before her treatment could be finished and staff at the hospital contacted the police expressing concern for the woman. Inquiries were carried out to try and locate the woman however the name and details she gave were false.
Officers are appealing for the public’s help to try and identify and locate the woman and check on her welfare.
She is described as being 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build and with blonde/ginger shoulder length hair.
She was last seen leaving the hospital in a light blue button shirt and dark coloured trousers.
She was carrying a black handbag and a black blazer.
