OFFICERS called in when money left at a till was stolen hope to speak to this man and woman.

The incident happened on Tuesday, April 9, at Asda in The Galleries in Washington, when £20 cashback accidentally left behind at a self service till was taken.

Police investigating have released CCTV of a man and woman they need to speak to who may be able to help with inquiries.

Northumbria Police are reminding people to ensure they take a few moments to ensure they have all of their belongings when leaving self service till areas, including shopping, bags, change and any requested cashback.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference number 328 10/04/15, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
