TWO men accused of stealing vital railway cables will be dealt with at crown court.
Wayne Eden and Kirk Scott, from Sunderland, are alleged to have stolen and handled the electrical cable, owned by Network Rail. In separate cases, the two appeared at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court.
Eden, 39, of Kingsley Close, and Scott, 31, of Hill View Square, will appear before Newcastle Crown Court on February 6.
They did not enter pleas and were released on bail.
