SUSPECTED stolen bikes and cannabis were seized during a search of a house.
Nine police officers and a sniffer dog were involved in the operation in Everton Drive, Eastlea, Seaham.
The raid on Saturday morning found a number of cannabis joints, in addition to a small amount of cannabis, and also removed three pedal cycles on suspicion they were stolen.
Inquiries are now ongoing to establish the genuine owners of the bikes.
A 31-year-old man was given a caution for possessing the drugs.
Sergeant Jim Peel, of Seaham Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We were given information from the community and acted on it.
“We would ask people to continue to be forthcoming with details and to get in touch.”
