AN investigation has been launched after a car was torched in Sunderland.
Firefighters were called to King Henry Court, in Downhill, at about 2.45am today after a Ford Ka parked in a private carpark for residents was set alight.
The blaze spread to a Renault Clio that was parked next to it, causing heat damage.
Fire crews from Sunderland North and Sunderland West community fire stations to tackle the blaze.
The Ford Ka was completely destroyed by the blaze.
Northumbria Police are investigating the incident.
