Arrest warrant issued for Sunderland man charged with burglary

A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a Sunderland man who was due to stand trial for burglary yesterday.

Glenn McMann, of Avonmouth Road, Farringdon, was expected at Durham Crown Court, but did not turn up for the first day of his trial. Lee Fish, defending the 25-year-old, said he could offer no explanation for his client’s failure to attend court.

The Recorder, Mr Tahir Khan, QC, issued a bench warrant for the arrest of McMann.
