Police investigating an arson in Downhill in Sunderland are appealing for information.

The incident happened on Wednesday, October 7, at a house in Kingsclere Square in Downhill in Sunderland. A bottle containing flammable liquid was thrown at the house causing minor damage to outside walls.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Officers are carrying out regular patrols in the area to offer reassurance to local residents who may be concerned.
