CRICKETER Paul Collingwood revealed his true colours when he celebrated England’s Ashes win.
The England and Durham star was thrown a Black Cat flag by Sunderland fan Jamie Trout.
And the Ashes winner wasted no time in picking it up and waving it to the cheering crowd at Sydney Cricket Ground.
Jamie said: “I’ve been out in Australia watching the Ashes, and after England secured the series win 3-1, I threw my Sunderland flag to Paul Collingwood and he was delighted to show his colours in front of the world.
“Well done Colly.”
England won the final Ashes Test in Sydney by an innings and 83 runs to wrap up the series 3-1 and secure their first win in Australia in 24 years.
Scores of Wearside fans made the trip Down Under. Collingwood has announced his retirement from the national side.
