Christian Aid Week this year runs from May 15 to May 21. Volunteers will be delivering the red envelopes soon and during the collection week will return to collect the filled envelopes. If you can, please gift aid your contribution as this makes a huge difference to the charity, and if by chance you miss your collector, please consider returning your envelope to either of the two village churches, or if you ring 0191 536 3346, an arrangement can be made for collection. This is a very important fund raiser for Christian Aid, and the work it helps to initiate across the world for farming, fishing and clean water is wonderful.
