Budding pop star Charlie Mole may have had a tough week on the X Factor but the Echo can reveal she is on top of the world after getting engaged
Charlie's boyfriend of two years, Lee Daglish, had been thinking for sometime about popping the question, and after a romantic proposal the couple are now set to marry next year.

Charlie, 23, who is down to the final eight acts in Simon Cowell's flagship show with her band Hope after being saved by the judges this week, said: "I wasn't expecting it at all. It was such a big surprise. We're so happy. He's amazing."
Murton lad Lee, 28, gave Charlie three things to celebrate on the night she found out she had got through to the live final stage of the popular ITV show.
Not only had she beaten off thousands of hopefuls to be named one of the final 12 acts in this year's X Factor, but it was also her 23rd birthday.
Lee, who works as a support worker with people with learning disabilities, topped off the night of celebrations at Charlie's dad Chris's house in Hertford with a proposal to remember.
Charlie, who has a five-year-old son Jack, said: "He gave me two cards. I opened the first one and it said: to my girlfriend, happy birthday. Then I opened the second one and it said: to my fiance, happy birthday.
"I looked up and he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand. I couldn't believe it. It was just so lovely."
The lovebirds haven't had much time to plan their big day since getting engaged, but Lee has managed to get down to London to see her about twice a week.
Lee said: "I thought her birthday would be the perfect day to propose because if she didn't get through she would still be happy, and if she did get through it would be a nice bonus.
"We haven't even had time for an engagement party yet. We're just going to have to play things by ear."
