YOUNGSTERS can net themselves improved sport skills at a competition later this month.

Tennis players can take part in the event in Chester-le-Street’s Riverside Leisure Complex on Thursday, August 29.

Those aged from 11 to 16 will play between 1pm and 3pm, with an entry fee of £3 per child.

Children aged between five and eight can take part in matches from 9.30am until 11am and those aged between eight and 11 can compete from 11am until 12.30pm.

Entry fees for the younger age categories are £2 per child.
