VOLUNTEERS from Wearside with a few hours to spare are needed for a new fundraising group.
The RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) wants to raise money for people with sight loss in Sunderland.
The charity hopes to set up a club in the city to raise the cash and needs to fill positions from group leader to occasional help.
Helen Rogers, from the RNIB, said: “We’re looking for people who are passionate about improving the lives of people with sight loss to join our group in Sunderland.
“It’s completely up to the group what kind of fundraising events to hold – anything goes, from coffee mornings to fashion shows or sporting events.
“Even if you only have a few hours to spare, you can help.”
Money raised for RNIB provides vital services to blind and partially sighted people across the UK.
